The RUTHERFORD is a sturdy, comfortable, and adaptable backpack that is designed with both purpose and pleasure in mind.

The structural core of the RUTHERFORD is cut from one continuous piece of beautiful 9-10oz vegetable tanned leather. The main cavity measures 15” x 12” x 5” (h/w/d) and has an inner sleeve for stowing paperwork or an iPad. The outer pocket measures 10” x 9.5” x 1.5”. Both side panels of the RUTHERFORD are prepared for you to improvise with bump cord or your favorite MOLLE accessories so that you can truly adapt this bag to your usage and desires.

The 3” wide shoulder straps disperse the weight and gently taper toward our solid brass tension locks which tightly cinch the 1” MIL-SPEC webbing, securing the load comfortably over and to your frame. Solid copper rivets reinforce all points of pull and stress, and braided waxed cord is used throughout where hand stitching is preferred.

At the moment, the RUTHERFORD comes in three colors: Saddle, Brown, and Black.
